Civilian Nurse Cape B.C.M.H.Vintage 1940s civilian nurse wool cape with the initials B. C. M. H. on the collar. I do not know what hospital the letters stand for. MEASUREMENTS (approximate): Neck 14" Shoulders 18 1 2" Length 29 3 4" It seems to be on the small to medium side. Dark blue outside, nice bright red inside. These "private purchase" capes were also worn by Cadet Nurses. Made by Bruck's Nurse's Outfitting Co. Inc. The original owner's initials are inside, D. V. S. It is
