Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. Tried aftermarket ink, worked FINE until Epson "update".....then got notice "invalid cartridge" and the printer would not operate.
Bought OEM ink and it's happy again. I'm NOT.

EPSON 822 DURABrite Ultra Ink High Capacity Black Cartridge is a great product. The 822 XL size will last you a long time. The color is perfect. it fits my printer perfectly. A great product and at a great price. I received it the same day that I ordered it. I did not know that I was running out of the black. The printer sends me messages that I am running out but I ignore the message and keep on printing hundreds of papers. Do not listen to your printer just keep printing until the cartridge is completely empty!!!
