It wants to work, but it needs more attention than I am willing to give it to get it there. I believe the switch is the main issue and the contacts needing a decent cleaning are also contributing. If you position the switch just right you can get the light to come on for a second. This has a wire button loop

I have the Casio W-218 (which is still kicking) and wanted an upgrade. This model has everything I need; full date, more water resistance, mineral glass, and is aesthetically pleasing. The 10 Year Battery is an added bonus. Like most Casio watches this one is easy to set up and use. Fits great on the wrist and functions very well. I plan on buying a replacement strap eventually but I expect no issues from the watch itself.
