Vintage Mexican Silver Turquoise Owl BroochA beautiful sterling silver owl set with inlaid and faceted turquoise stones. The reverse of the piece is marked: TM 204, Mexico 925. Tested as sterling silver Circa: latter half of the 20th century 6. 7cm length, 4. 4cm wide. 34. 6 grams. The turquoise has not been professionally tested as natural or synthetic but the uniformity of the colour and texture suggests it is either reconstituted or dyed. Lovely clean condition. I like the tray a lot. Quality is very good. Color (Brown) is attractive. Size is perfect for my nightstand. It holds phone, remote, eyeglasses, & phone. I threaded my phone charging cord through a corner of the tray. But it slides too easily off of the nightstand. I'm going to try to find something to stop it from sliding that will stick to the underside of the tray without harming the wood surface on my cherry nightstand.
